Tourism 2010

Tourism 2010
The 2010 Games were "Canada's Games." Only once in a generation do most Canadians get to experience the thrill of Olympic competition in their own backyard. Over three billion pairs of eyes were on Canada when the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games took the world stage.

Tourism 2010

The 2010 Games were our time to share Canadian culture with the world. To show off our innovative, youthful, light-hearted, witty, creative and daring sides-and to show the world what makes Canadians so special, from Mt. St. Elias, Yukon, in the west to Cape Spear, Newfoundland, in the east; and from Cape Columbia, Northwest Territories, in the north to Middle Island, Ontario, in the south.

With the entire country basking in the Olympic glow, one of the greatest beneficiaries of the 2010 Winter Games will be the Canadian tourism industry. The CTC took full advantage of the Games to showcase Canada's extraordinary tourism experiences, to build on the momentum of Canada's tourism brand around the world, and to leverage international media attention.
